Baseball Recap: Union City Picks Up 17th Straight Win at Home

Union City put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Destiny Christian Wildcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The three-run effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Union City's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon McCool, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Carson Biffle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Union City's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Destiny Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
