Michigan Center waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Springport Spartans as they made off with a 55-35 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Springport's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reese Siefert, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Siefert is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played. Ciarra Brock was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 15 rebounds.

Michigan Center's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Springport, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
