Soccer Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

Central Valley and Yreka combined for 15 shots on goal on Wednesday, which explains the impressive eight total goals scored. The Central Valley Falcons came up short against the Yreka Miners, falling 7-1. The defeat leaves the Falcons without a win on the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Gavin Cook, who's now up to two this season.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Yreka, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Central Valley has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against West Valley on the 13th. Yreka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
