Softball Recap: Bell City Comes Up Short

Bell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Kaplan Pirates, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bruins have suffered since February 28th.

Bell City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenadie Armentor, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bell City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Kaplan, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bell City will square off against Hathaway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kaplan, they will venture away from home to take on Ponchatoula at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kaplan will need to watch out since Ponchatoula has now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
