Soccer Recap: Roy Takes a Loss

Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Northridge Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Northridge this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in August.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northridge, they moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Roy will host Box Elder at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roy's defense better be ready for this one: Box Elder have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Northridge, they will venture away from home to square off against Fremont at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
