Dekaney won the last time they faced Westfield and things went their way on Friday too. Dekaney walked away with a 6-2 win over Westfield. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Micah Green was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Adrian Martinez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Dekaney was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westfield only posted a batting average of .179.

Dekaney's record is now 12-9. As for Westfield, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dekaney will square off against rival Benjamin Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Nimitz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
