Basketball Recap: Torres Takes a Loss

Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 71-57 fall against the University Prep Value Wolves. If the Toros were looking for revenge after losing 59-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for University Prep Value, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Torres won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Academia Avance at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep Value, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gertz-Ressler at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
