Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 31-17 bruising from the Southlake Carroll Dragons. The contest marked the Texans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Southlake Carroll, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-5.

Northwest and Azle will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th. Southlake Carroll will take on Bell in a holiday battle at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
