After a string of five wins, Freedom Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 88-78 to the Fayetteville Academy Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 92-80 back in November of 2024.

Fayetteville Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Barnes, who posted 24 points. That's the most points Barnes has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kingston Carlsen, who earned 20 points.

Freedom Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9. As for Fayetteville Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7.

Freedom Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-45 win against Overhills on the 18th. Fayetteville Academy has also already played their next match, a 90-29 victory against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 17th.
