Basketball Recap: Ar-We-Va Takes a Loss

If Ar-We-Va was riding high fresh off their 73-19 takedown of IKM/Manning last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ar-We-Va Rockets lost 55-32 to the River Valley Wolverines on Thursday. The Rockets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in February of 2016.

Ar-We-Va's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for River Valley, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Ar-We-Va wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-17 defeat against Woodbine on the 31st. River Valley has also already played their next matchup, a 47-46 loss against Kingsley-Pierson on the 31st.
