Football Game Recap: Charleston vs. Eupora

Charleston fell to Eupora 6-13 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Charleston took their contest against Eupora on Friday by a conclusive 44-14 score. Charleston were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Charleston started the game off right with 22 first-half points. Eupora put up 14, so the score was 22-14 at the half. The Charleston defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Charleston's record up to 4-2. The defeat dropped Eupora's record to 4-2.

Next week Charleston take on Amanda Elzy at 7:00 PM. Charleston will be strutting in after a win while Amanda Elzy will be stumbling in from a loss. Eupora will be staying on the road, facing off against East Webster.
