Basketball Recap: Bryant Comes Up Short

Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Francis Lewis Patriots 86-45. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 985th, while the Patriots are ranked 178th).

Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Francis Lewis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Bryant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Francis Lewis has already played their next matchup (against Marshall Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
