Softball Recap: Macarthur Beats Nimitz for Their Fourth Straight Win

MacArthur entered their tilt with Nimitz on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-3 back in February.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Nimitz, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 4-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur will take on rival Eisenhower at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nimitz is set to challenge their familiar foe Aldine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
