Basketball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Falls Short of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in the Playoffs

Chartiers-Houston and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Chartiers-Houston had to settle for second. They fell 54-45 to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers. The Buccaneers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Despite the loss, Chartiers-Houston still got an impressive performance from Nathan Gregory, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points. The contest was Gregory's third in a row with at least 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justus Buckingham, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Chartiers-Houston's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Chartiers-Houston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-47 defeat against Northgate on the 26th. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
