Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Mountain Ridge rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Copper Hills Grizzlies by a score of 3-1. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Among those leading the charge was Dax Nicholson, who had 19 digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March. Xavier Tesen was another key player, getting 18 assists and seven digs.

Jacob Watanuki and Brandon Erickson certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Watanuki had ten assists and seven digs, while Erickson had 17 digs.

Mountain Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Copper Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Mountain Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Herriman on the 6th. As for Copper Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Layton on the 6th.
