Baseball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo fell victim to Lakewood and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in April.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cabrillo will challenge El Rancho at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lakewood, they will take on Mayfair at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lancers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Monsoons have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
