Baseball Recap: The Webb School Comes Up Short

The Webb School suffered their biggest defeat since April 1, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Sweetwater Wildcats, falling 12-5. The Feet have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathaniel Simmons was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Edwards, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

The Webb School's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Sweetwater, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Webb School will take on Grace Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
