Basketball Recap: Imbler Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Imbler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the South Wasco County Redsides 71-39. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Redsides are ranked 47th).

Imbler's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Wasco County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imbler won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Weston-McEwen at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will be up against the TigerScots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Wasco County, they and North Clackamas Christian will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
