South Salem won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Saturday too. The Saxons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars.

Among those leading the charge was Leah Ioane, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 15 matchups. Ellenia Setzer also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

South Salem has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7-1 record this season. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

South Salem wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Corvallis on the 18th. As for Mountain View, they will challenge Redmond at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
