Softball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland lost against Bernie last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Mules, falling 23-13.

Woodland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Bernie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Woodland will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bloomfield at 4:30 p.m. As for Bernie, they will head out to face off against South Pemiscot at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Mules surely won't give up without a fight.
