Volleyball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Burroughs Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-19.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Burroughs, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Coming up, Hoover will square off against Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burroughs, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Chatsworth on the 1st.
