Basketball Game Preview: Northmor Golden Knights vs. Loudonville Redbirds

The Northmor Golden Knights will challenge the Loudonville Redbirds at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Northmor's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Loudonville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Northmor didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Centerburg, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory.

Aj Bower had a dynamite game for Northmor, going 6 for 12 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Bodden Landin, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Loudonville was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 55-54 to Tuslaw.

Northmor is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Loudonville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.

Everything went Northmor's way against Loudonville when the teams last played back in January, as Northmor made off with a 77-55 win. Will Northmor repeat their success, or does Loudonville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
