Volleyball Game Preview: River Valley Falcons vs. Placer Hillmen + How To Watch

The River Valley Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Placer Hillmen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, River Valley came up short against Pleasant Valley and fell 2-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Placer didn't have quite enough to beat Yuba City on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Placer started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-13.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Placer, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

River Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Placer when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Hillmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
