Softball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Madison Blue Streaks, falling 20-4.

Orange saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Breininger, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Madison, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange will take on Varsity Opponent at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison, they will face off against Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Streaks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
