Basketball Recap: North Find Success

If Riverside wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played North, they should've done a better job of containing Kaitlin Dobida. The North Rangers came out on top against the Riverside Beavers by a score of 50-40 on Saturday thanks in part to Dobida, who posted 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of North's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Ferrari, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high.

The victory got North back to even at 9-9. As for Riverside, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

North will challenge South at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Riverside, they will face off against Chardon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
