Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Allegheny couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shaler Area Titans on Tuesday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

West Allegheny's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Shaler Area, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

West Allegheny does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shaler Area, they will square off against Penn-Trafford on the 28th. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
