Baseball Game Preview: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Camden County Bruins

The First Flight Nighthawks will head out on the road to face off against the Camden County Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Flight has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for First Flight after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Manteo, falling 17-8. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaron Stewart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

Meanwhile, Camden County came up short against Currituck County on Friday and fell 7-3.

First Flight's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Camden County, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

First Flight beat Camden County 6-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Does First Flight have another victory up their sleeve, or will Camden County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
