Basketball Recap: Northwood Rangers vs. North Baltimore Tigers
After flying high against Woodward last Monday, Northwood came back down to earth. The Northwood Rangers came up short against the North Baltimore Tigers on Monday, falling 58-36. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.
North Baltimore found their leader in freshman Lacie Allison, who went 10 for 23 to rack up 29 points in addition to six boards and six steals. The match was Allison's 19th in a row with at least 16 points. Aubrey Cotterman was another key player, putting up ten points and five blocks.
Northwood has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for North Baltimore, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Northwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Baltimore, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-37 win against Ada on the 11th.
