Westside won the last time they faced Wren and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Madison Gray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Westside's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Shelby Compton was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Wren, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westside is set to challenge their familiar foe Laurens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wren will face off against rival Emerald at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
