After losing to San Jose the last time they met, Overfelt decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Overfelt Royals came out on top against the San Jose Bulldogs by a score of 60-49 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Overfelt's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for San Jose, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Overfelt will square off against Del Mar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Overfelt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for San Jose, they will head out on the road to take on Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
