Basketball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-35 loss at the hands of the Pacifica Mariners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sentinels of the 58-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pacifica, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Magnolia will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Katella at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Pacifica, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Portola at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
