A Season-Best Effort from Jayzion Mcqueen Leads Crestview over Navarre

On Friday, Crestview got the W thanks in part to Jayzion Mcqueen playing the best football he has all season. Mcqueen rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 88 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Crestview: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Crestview moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Mcqueen and Crestview will face off against Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Makael Williams Goes Supernova in Pace Win

Pace picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Makael Williams. Nobody could stop Williams as he rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.

Pace pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Williams and Pace have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Pine Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
