Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bearcats 45-43.
Cabrillo is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Pioneer Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
Cabrillo strolled past the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Pioneer Valley's Inderveer Toor, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
