Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brynn Hand and Stella Reed Lead New Hope to Victory

New Hope posted their closest victory since September 23rd on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oxford Yellow Jackets, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

New Hope was led to victory by Stella Reed and Brynn Hand. Reed had seven digs and four aces, while Hand had eight assists and five digs. That's the most digs Hand has posted over her last five matchups.

New Hope's win bumped their record up to 9-26. As for Oxford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

New Hope has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lincoln on the 11th. Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
