Basketball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney's last matchup with Zephyr could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Eagles were beaten by the Bulldogs 54-16. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sidney has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Zephyr, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will take on Mullin in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Zephyr and Lingleville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
