The Houghton Lake Bobcats came up short against the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Houghton Lake was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Houghton Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Houghton Lake has already played their next contest (against Johannesburg-Lewiston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Onekama on the 23rd.
