Winfield had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Riverside Warriors as they made off with a 10-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Winfield's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Winfield will head out on the road to face off against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will host Parkersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
