After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cocke County, Seymour was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Austin-East Roadrunners with a sharp 3-0 win. Seymour might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Seymour's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-4. As for Austin-East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seymour will take on Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Austin-East, they will face off against Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Austin-East surely won't give up without a fight.
