Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson City vs. Rock Bridge

The Jefferson City Jays will head out to square off against the Rock Bridge Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jefferson City is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Blair Oaks on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Rock Bridge waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Wildcats. Rock Bridge's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Rock Bridge's win bumped their record up to 5-1. Jefferson City's draw gives them a new season record of 5-3-1.

Jefferson City came up short against Rock Bridge in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Jays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
