Jonathan Pearson Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Friday, Tri-County got the W thanks in part to Jonathan Pearson playing the best football he has all season. Pearson rushed for 198 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.

Bowman Academy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Pearson it was a similar story. Pearson rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Chantz Mccutchen Delivers Best Performance of Season

North White was led to victory by Chantz Mccutchen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mccutchen rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 128 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 82 yards.

The victory was the third in a row for North White, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. They and West Central are set to duel on Friday.

Sherrick Posts Huge Game in 49-6 Win

Another North White player making an appearance on this list is Ben Sherrick. He rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made 14 total tackles and defended a pass.

For the season, Sherrick has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 99.8 rushing yards per game.

Kevin Martinez Makes It Two for Tri-County

South Newton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Bogucki and South Newton are on the road again on Friday to play Frontier at 7:30 p.m.
