Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 77-58 win over St. George on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-43 last Thursday.

Piedmont Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for St. George's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piedmont Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Stratford Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Piedmont Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. George's, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Oak Mountain Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. George's is facing Oak Mountain Academy at the right time seeing as Oak Mountain Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
