Troy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Piqua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Piqua took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Troy, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Troy made easy work of Fairborn and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Troy never let Fairborn on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-13.

Troy relied on the efforts of Caylee Workman, who had 17 digs, and Grace Breneman, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave Breneman a new career-high. Corinne Hillman also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
Meanwhile, Piqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Greenville.
Piqua couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Greenville a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 29-31, 20-25, 25-23, 15-9.
Piqua now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Troy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Troy beat Piqua 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
