Baseball Recap: Western Harnett Eagles vs. Westover Wolverines
Western Harnett won the last time they faced Westover and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Wolverines. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Ethan Mazurowski was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. He has become a key player for Western Harnett: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-11 otherwise.
