Softball Recap: Evansville Comes Up Short

Evansville lost against Turner back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell 6-1 to the Trojans. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Evansville and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Turner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Evansville will head out to face off against McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Turner, they will challenge Janesville Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Vikings have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
