Volleyball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

If Conway was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Laquey on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell just short of the Warsaw Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Conway sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-12.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Warsaw, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Coming up, Conway will head out to square off against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warsaw, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Windsor on the 1st.
