Basketball Recap: Bohemia Manor Takes a Loss

Bohemia Manor and Perryville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Bohemia Manor had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Perryville Panthers and fell 74-23. Having soared to a lofty 64 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Perryville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Stanley, who shot 50% from the field en route to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Stanley continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Zoey Graves was another key player, putting up 16 points along with six steals and five boards.

Bohemia Manor dropped their record down to 2-20 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Perryville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Bohemia Manor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perryville, they have already played their next matchup, a 56-53 win against Kent County on the 5th.
