Perry Central came out on top against Lanesville on Wednesday thanks in part to Trace Knieriem's efforts. Knieriem scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Knieriem and Perry Central will welcome Evansville Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Shoals, so the Commodores will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
