The home team had won the previous four meetings between Cooper and Midland Legacy, and Cooper kept the tradition alive. The Cougars managed a 42-38 victory over the Rebels on Friday. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 55-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cooper has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Midland Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Coming up, Cooper will be home for the holidays to greet Keller Central at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Midland Legacy and Ford will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on the 29th.
