Football Game Preview: Alta/Aurelia vs. Pocahontas

Alta/Aurelia will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Pocahontas at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Alta/Aurelia were able to grind out a solid victory over South O'Brien last week, winning 22-9.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Pocahontas, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They took their match against Northwest Webster 15-6.

Their wins bumped Alta/Aurelia to 2-1 and Pocahontas to 1-2. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
