Volleyball Game Preview: Hobgood Charter Raiders vs. Manteo Redskins

Hobgood Charter is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Manteo is on a four-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Raiders will host the Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hobgood Charter will be strutting in after a win while Manteo will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Hobgood Charter got the win against Mattamuskeet by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Manteo didn't have quite enough to beat Perquimans on Thursday and fell 3-2. The loss was the Redskins' first of the season.

Manteo took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Having lost for the first time this season, Manteo fell to 10-1. As for Hobgood Charter, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
